Virginia Vette is a 1934 graduate of Beatrice High School. Mrs. Vette received the Bachelor of Arts degree from UNL in 1938. She is a lifelong resident of Beatrice. Mrs.Vette is a very active member of Christ Church Episcopal, a 50-year member of the Altar Guild serving in many various positions. She also was a member of the Christ Church’s Vestry, the Episcopal Church Women and she served as president and treasurer of St.Elizabeth’s Guild. Mrs. Vette was a Trustee of Christ Church’s Foundation. Mrs. Vette was a charter member of the Children’s Guild, a member of the homestead Garden Club, P.E.O Chapter Z, and Elizabeth Montague Chapter of D.A.R.
