Sara Rhodes Dillow graduated from Beatrice High School in 1958. She graduated from Sara is an avid quilter and collector of antique quilts. she was a founder and first president of both the Prairie Peacemakers' Quilt Guild of Fremont and Nebraska Quilt Guild. Dillow was president of the American Quilt Study Group and chairs the Nebraska Guild's Quilt Preservation project offering documentation and storage enhancement to Nebraska Museums with quilts in their collection. Her book, "Repiecing the Past," was written in 1995 and features 12 of her antique quilts with modern counterparts made by Dillow and others.
