CURRICULUM AND ASSESSMENT
CLC provides students with a rigorous, standards-based curriculum, as well as a structure and environment that balances individualized, student-directed learning and teacher-led, small group instruction. CLC provides flexibility and choices for students for a personalized learning experience within a 21st Century Learning Community. CLC also provides opportunities for career exploration and vocational training in order to connect classroom learning to real-life experiences. CLC students participate in all district and state assessments, including our Essential Skills Test. All students must pass the Essential Skills Test prior to receiving a Beatrice High School diploma. This helps ensure that all graduates of the CLC will be prepared to meet their individual educational and career interests and aspirations.
