Dean is a 1952 graduate of Beatrice High School. Mr. Sackett is currently a rear admiral in the U.S. Navy. Starting in 1952 as a midshipman in the U.S. Naval Academy, Mr.Sackett rose to the following positions: Ensign, Lieutenant, Commander, Captain and Rear Admiral. his position has led to assignments such as a member of the Office of Joint Chiefs of Staff as a Deputy Director for International Negotiations. His various honors and medals include the Defense Superior Service Medal, Legion of Merit, Meritorious Service Medal, and Navy Achievement Medal. His background includes a B.S. from the U.S. Naval Academy and an M.S. from George Washington University.
