BHS STUDENTS: we are requiring you to turn your chromebook, charger and case into your last period teacher on Friday, December 18. ex. If your last period is 6th period, you will turn into your 6th period teacher. This is required. (Sutter)
PLEASE check the fines & fees list on the west wall in the front hallway. Cafeteria and library have been added. The list is far too long. Please work to get your name off the list.

The Greater Omaha/Council Bluffs Area Council on Youth Leadership will sponsor the annual "Youth Salute". The purpose of this program is to honor high school juniors who maintain a high scholastic average and have demonstrated leadership ability. To qualify, a student must be a high school junior (Cohort 2022); have a minimum 3.0 grade point average through their sophomore year; and have held two leadership roles within the last two years in school, religious or community sponsored organizations. The mission of Beatrice High School is to guarantee all students will meet or exceed their individual academic goals and exhibit responsible citizenship.
Beatrice High School Improvement Goals
During the 2020-2021 school year, 60% of BHS juniors will receive a score of seven (7) or higher on the ACT writing assessment.
By utilizing individual goal setting and tracking progress, BHS will work to improve student MAP assessment scores; with 70% of BHS students at grade level or higher at the end of the 2020-2021 school year.
